Estimates by me may differ from official reports - Typhoon Haishen (Known in the Philippines as Typhoon Kristine) was the third storm in only three weeks to strike the Korean peninsula. The storm started off in the Central WPAC and intensified into a category 5. After that, The storm weakened and moved northward, striking South Korea as a category 1. Due to the storm's large wind field, which is shown in this animation, many areas received impacts.
