The humans killed all of her kind for their unique fur. The fur has aesthetic abilities when it's power is used. The humans kept some as pets hoping to be able to use the power, it didn't work. So they killed them. And now, Boba is the only one left. So Boba became friends with other creatures. She lived in seclusion, until, someone found her. That someone was Dog. They became great friends. Dog had to keep her a secret though, because people would want to kill Boba. But, in the end, they had a happy friendship.
