Albert Almora Jr. played one of the BIGGEST roles of the 2016 Chicago Cubs’ World Series run. And now, he is playing with another team. Almora was probably that best fielder this decade. If you look up some of his catches, it’s just... WOW. Almora became a strong Christian after he hit a 105 foul ball toward a 5 year old girl and severely injured her. He Prayed to God for the first time in that moment. Now, Almora and the family are great friends, the girl made a full recovery! Didnt know that but I know now... Almora was one of my favs. Now that he’s gone I realized that. Almora made a MATERFUL base running job in the 10th inning of game 7 of the World Series, which gave the Cubs a huge advantage in the World Series. Maybe... we shall see if the return of Almora happens. We shall see... As of now, he plays for the New York Mets.
