They were best friends, but one day, Lantern was showing off his fire abilities and accidentally scarred her, blinding Clover in one eye. He ran away, crying and ashamed, and vowed never to make friends or use his powers again. But Clover, always forgiving, found him, and stayed with him. Lantern is still scarred and upset, and he has trouble talking to people, but Clover always cheers him up. --
