Ok, I've been a tiny bit less active on scratch, but not actually taking a break. Even though I'm still active my interest in scratch is dropping. Here's are some reasons why I'm taking a break. (Please note that the earliest I could leave scratch is in very late 2021, bc I have cool ideas but need to practice coding for them) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reason 1: kinda bored lol I've lost most of my interest in coding, and at this point it's more stressful than fun. All I really do is comment but the only good studio that I'm in is dying. There's also not too many good projects, but I guess that's kinda fair. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reason 2: The community This, my friend is a rant. The community, is full of "animations", f4f, follow on command, clickers, and generic platformers. Studios are either dead or have a bad community and the only good studio that I'm in is less active. The comments on projects are either advertisements, or cringe. If I look on trending I'll usually find low effort clickers and generic platformers by people who beg for follows. The community sucks and people are leaving bc of it. Beggars don't want to do work. These clickers are low effort fame. The "animations"... ok they're not bad, but not good. Low quality remixes are kinda lazy. The advertisements are just... In conclusion: Not using scratch makes my day better.
Comment any questions before I take a break.
