You ever get the feeling that knowing that once you start on a big project you can't escape from it until it's finished? I have all the time. It's like going to camp from school, with all those thoughts on your mind on how you miss your family at home trying to bother you until you meet them again. For me though, it goes like this. Once I plan to work on a project here on Scratch, there doesn't seem to be any way out of thinking about finishing it, making me miss all those times I had freely roaming the other sites of the internet and in the real world. It might not be much, but trust me, every time I have to watch an important video on yt, or if we plan to walk around the mall, there is always going to be the annoying thought process on finishing that darn project. And so, the only way that I would get out is to rush through and get it over with. The problem is though, it's not what everyone had expected it to be. All I really shared was a lump of disappointment to everyone including me. It wasn't worth it at all. Because of this possible outcome, this is why many of my series are suffering delays. But there's a solution. It's all in the mind of my patience, and I can train it. You know the quote, "Patience is the key to everything?" Well, in a way, it's true. Waiting patiently is the solution to all problems that involve spending a lot of time. It's hard at first, but it will become very easy once you have gotten used to the art of it. If there needs to be a complete rework on something you worked hard on? Patience. If there's an upcoming game you really wanna play but must wait until it's released? Patience. If you want to work on a big project that will for sure impress the community once it's released? Patience. Time matters, people. Don't go all out trying to be hungry for money/views. You'll just get a bunch of criticism to the face if you rush through things, much like what many companies out there are doing. Think about if what you're making will please everyone first beforehand. And while you're working, if you're too stressed out about not having any free time in your hands, take a break. Resort to your free time immediately if necessary, then come back to working on that big project once you're prepared. And just like that, the end result will be worth it! =D In conclusion, if you need to take a big chunk of time to focus on something big that will surely please the community, be patient. (And don't get stuck into making it all the time! Remember to take a break!)
