Day 20: As soon as we were up, we rushed to the library and entered the secret area. Making sure no one had followed us, we quietly closed the bookcase door and held up our lanterns to the dusty volumes in front of us. I brushed my fingers on the old covers, reading the titles. “A History of History”, “The Lake before Camp.”, and “The Origin of SWC” were just a few. Which book would help us? Star picked up a book and gently turned a page of a huge novel. “Ugh, bookworms.” “That’s me.” I said. “No, ACTUAL bookworms! They chewed the page, see!” She said, staring at the page. We looked, and sadly, it was true. The page, in fact multiple pages had many tiny bite marks taken out of them. We searched through other books. Same result. I wondered if someone had wanted to destroy the books on purpose. The pile of useless books we had made grew larger, until half the books in the secret library were gone. Exhausted, we sat on the moldy sofa in the middle of the room, which had a single lamp. Surprisingly, it worked when I pulled the string! “Well.” Sighed Mango. “We tried. It’s not like we didn’t learn anything. This place is cool! We could turn it into our hang out spot!” “I like that idea.” Said star, and smiling. “Yeah!” Said Low. “And the best part is no one knows about it! We could put some lights, some other tables, bean bags, ladders, and bulletin board-“ “Why a bulletin board?” Asked Star. “For our conspiracy theories.” “Oh.” “Well I like that idea.” I said. “It’s official. This can be our new hangout place.” Everyone laughed. We finally headed out of the room. I was last. As I was about to leave, though, I noticed a small but lengthy book, lying in a dark corner. I picked it up: “The Complete History of Camp.” I opened it. No holes. No empty pages. It was intact. “Come on Shar!” Said Star. At the last moment, I stuffed it in my bag.
Based of SWC Sadly, Star left scratch noooooo :(((((((((((((((
