Welcome to AVP WARNING: THIS GAME CONTAINS VIOLENCE, AN EERIE BACKGROUND, AND ALIEN BLOOD Note: This game may lag for some people- which is why i have not included all of the features in a basic fighting game(Scrolling background, and stuff like that) This is a fighting game that is inspired by killer instinct and Alien:Isolation. This will be a game series that i will make with a variety of characters. In this version, the characters are: Alein(Player) VS Alien(AI opponent) Please note: This is a beta game- so there may be a few glitches and the game is not complete, so please don't hate for this. Also don't hate because there is only 1 character- if I added the Predator into this game it would start lagging quite badly. CONTROLS Note: Don't complain because i didn't use commands like down diagonal forward punch, because it would make the game too hard for new players . Also don't complain about the key combinations used for some moves, because they are used because the original(1-9) command key layout made the game too easy. 1: Light punch 2: light kick 3 + 4: dash FORWARDS + 1: Bite attack(Similar to a throw/grab n' headbut) DOWN + 2:Heavy kick DOWN + 1: Heavy punch BACKWARDS + 1: Acid spit(Projectile) 8: Combo breaker(The only attack that counters the opponents combo) 9: Face-hugger call(Will attach itself to the opponent and periodically injure them) 10+ LEFT or RIGHT: Vent dash(Similar to Glacius' melt in ice move in Killer Instinct) aka: teleport LEFT/RIGHT: Walk Down arrow: Crouch Up arrow(Down arrow= jump down): Jump(Wall crawl) FORWARD + 4 = super move(Requires full power gauge) Eyedol theme from KI1: Hold the down arrow until the fight starts-you will know if it is active if there is no alarm as the background noise SAMPLE COMBOS Tooth and Claw: FORWARDS + 1,1,DOWN+1 Monster: 3+4,DOWN+2 Hunter: 3+4,DOWN+2,0+BACK ALIEN: 1+BACK,1+BACK,1+BACK,3+4,3+4,DOWN+2 FEATURES Several movie related moves/attacks Sound effects from alien:Isolation/the movies Eyedol theme from KI A.I -Blocks your attacks -Counters your attacks -Travels towards/away from the player tactically -Can achieve high combos on the player -50/50chance victory battle -note: The AI will sometimes have a "bad game" GLITCHES Please report all glitches that you find. Glitch: Vertical battles Cause: Intense close quarters fights(Both players countering combos/massive energy losses for both players). I don't know why this happens, because it shouldn't. Commonness: Very rare Affects gameplay?: The battle can still progress normally, however walking for both players moves diagonally/vertically. Prevention/counter: restart the game, and it shouldn't happen again. Glitch: AI freezing Cause: unknown(but understandable because of programming style) Commonness: Rare/sometimes common Affects gameplay: Yes and very badly Prevention/counter: Restart the game, and it shouldn't happen again. UPDATES Update;v1: Release Update;v1.01: You can now rapid fire the acid spit attack rather than shoot one then walk backwards. Dash attack nerfed. Fixed Eydol theme for when the player is losing the battle. Update;v1.02: Fixed key combination attacks so that they can be used smoothly. Loudened the standard background alarm. Added sound effects for when the ship is in self destruct lockdown. Fixed glitch where characters "rotated" when stationary- it was corrupted costumes. Face hugger glitches fixed. The AI opponent will no longer corner itself. Both characters now fall off the ceiling if they collide. Added background for the health bar. The battle starts with each character facing the correct way. Update;v1.03: Added HUD. HUD contains the players name. Reduced the likeliness of the fight continuing after the battle has been won. Update;v1.04: Super moves added. AI is more aggressive. Dash attack nerfed so spamming is less frequent. Update;v1.05: Super move bars updated to show more accurate values. Update;v1.06: AI made more aggressive. Several glitches fixed. Victory animation added(Similar to KI1victory animation). Victory Cutscene added(Similar to KI(XB1) victory celebrations(Note: i can't add sound to this because it will start lagging) Update;v1.07: The AI has been made a lot more aggressive.
