Thanks to @Scratch-mation for 99.85% of the work! I just made it go quite a bit faster by moving the sensing sprite 1 step at a time instead of 0.25. I then made it go back by 0.25 steps to keep the good resolution, but make it faster. - Just a little trick I learned while working on my yet to be finished raycaster. My poor, and not-very-fast computer was having a hard time with the original...
