(Uhhh.... I tried.) Keith didn't remember when his sisters both left to go "Seek Their Fortune". He just knew that they left quickly, eager to leave their burrow; to leave their parents. He was only around four when they vanished, but he could clearly remember the moment when they used the ceiling door in the back of his parent's burrow to escape. His parents simply passed it off, saying that they were doomed to perish in the end. -- Ten years later, his parents took him into one of the labs and attempted to inject some sort of mute's DNA into his bloodstream. When nothing happened, his father simply sighed and escorted him out of the room. Later that night, Keith's mother admitted to him that he was supposed to him that they had tried to alter his genetic make-up; to change him into a half Mega half human hybrid. However, his cells always rejected the serum, rendering him immune. He was useless in his own mother's eyes. Both of his sisters had taken the serum, and were supposed to be closely examined on their behavior, but they escaped before their parents to gather the proper data. Keith was supposed to be different, but alas, he was unable to ave his DNA bonded to another's. -- Just the following day, Keith decided to leave the burrow as well. If his parents saw him useless, then so be it. But, he would prove them wrong. He'd show them just how much he could do with a mute's blood.
