Two's POV: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I came to the doctor and asked him with a broken voice, "Can we properly bury One?" He answered, "Of course." Then we carried her body to the grave site. We met One's parents there. They were bawling. I thought they'd be mad at me, but I guess they weren't. They told me they had mixed feelings. I had too. One's dad said, "We...we loved her. Did me and Martha not give her enough?" I replied, "No. You gave her all she needed. It was my fault. Mrs. Martha said, "Why?" I hesitated. "She wanted to make me feel the way she felt when-" I paused. "When I betrayed her." "You betrayed her how?" Both of them asked. "When she loved me, I loved someone else. Three." I replied. "That doesn't matter." "What?" How did it not matter? I basically killed her! Mrs. Martha said, "What matters is that you cared for her. Thank you for caring for her." I responded, "Uh...you're welcome." Three looked at me and said, "I didn't really love you, but I saw you as a friend. I see everyone else here as a friend. Maybe we're too young for this. We probably are. But it's nice to see someone who cares about me." "Thanks," I said. We prayed together for a good journey to heaven for One. It hurt. So much. As I walked to my apartment, I didn't know what to feel. But I knew I wouldn't be happy ever again.
