Day 10: I couldn’t believe it was already ten days of staying here! My word count had soared to 3237 words! I was very happy. I also realized, with a twang of disappointment, that this was already a third of camp. I would eventually have to leave. At least it was a Saturday. Saturday’s were very fun at camp. You could relax, hang with friends, read, write, or even just hang in the rec room. But today it was drizzling outside, so the only option I really had was go to the rec room. I met Star and Mango there, already playing a game of pool. “Where’s Low?” I asked. They both pointed to a corner, where Low was avidly reading a book. I smiled, and asked if I could play pool. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The rain was howling, but instead of scaring me, it reminded me fondly of the first day I got there. I suddenly remembered the old lady. “Hey guys? Did you talk to the old woman on the first day?” They both nodded. “Have you seen her since?” They both paused. “Ah, yes. The old lady...” said a voice behind, which scared the lights out of me. Thunder stuck at that moment too. But it was just Li, still clutching to the parchment. “She only appears on the first day and last day of the session. Every session, her lessons change. Probably want to keep YOUR lesson to yourself.” She said mysteriously. With another thunder clap, she was gone. “She would fit in perfectly with the horror cabin.” Said Star. This made us laugh, but nervously. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We told Low about this. After coming up with ridiculous theories of WHY Li would tell us this, we all just decided to play Among Us to get our minds of. I couldn’t stop thinking of the time the Adventure Cabiners had broken in. “Do you think Among Us is the best video game?” Asked Low, who had already won as imposter 3 times in a row. “It’s obviously Minecraft.” Said me and Star at the same time. “I like Roblox.” Said Mango. “That’s cool. I like among us because it requires strategy.” Said Low. She paused.”And also because it is similar to camp.” I didn’t know what she meant about that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I lie in bed a thunder and wind shook the building. The camp seemed more alive than I thought.
