Day 9: The day started out really fun. Our cabin was catching up with words! We were determined to win! Me, Mango, and Low got up and immediately started writing. I only wrote about 400 words, but Low did 550, and Mango did 723! We submitted our peices and decided to head to the lake. Star was waiting for us there. "Hi Star!" I introduced them to each other, and pretty soon, Star had passed us crackers to feed to the fish. "How are things in the horror cabin?" Low asked politely, throwing a crumb at a fish. "Pretty good. I'm really excited to see who wins though!" "Yeah! Have you been to any other cabins?" Mango asked. "No. Are we allowed?" "Anything is allowed as long as it follows the code." "Yeah." I said. "And not going in the attic." That made everyone laugh. "What is the big deal about that place, though? When I went there, it was-" Star put a hand over my mouth as Sini passed by. "Thanks." "No problem." We stared at the lake, growing more orange in the setting sun. "We better go." said Low. I spent the rest of the evening writing my story. It was gonna be huge.
