Press space or the right arrow to go to the next drawing, press the left arrow to go to the previous one. 1- Armadillo the Sandwing. I was originally gonna put graffiti on the wall behind him but then I realized dragons probably haven't invented spray paint. 2- Some doodles. The top left one is Hurricane, top right is Sunrise, and bottom one is Cinnabar (looking at it now I realized I forgot to make the top of her head a different colour, though I guess the lighter colour of her jaw kinda counts for that) 3- I wanted to try drawing a dragon from the front. Good thing the drawing program I use has a symmetry brush ;) Please ignore how big the ears are 4- A new profile picture I made of a panda, I felt like the old one was a little outdated :) Still don't know if I like it that much (the placement of the paws feels a little weird) but it's good enough for now. 5- Don't worry, it's just cherry koolaid :) 6- Drew this back in December, forgot to put it here. It's based of a (very similar) picture of a cat sitting down and wearing a wizard cap and cape, which is where the face comes from. I don't know why I drew it, but it makes me laugh whenever I see it 7- Ghost, @MagikarpT's character. The first time I drew him I made him more grey and purple even though he was supposed to be pitch black because I figured black would be hard to colour in, so I decided to try making him the right colour this time. I was right the first time. Also this is based off of a sketch I made a while ago :P 8- Hurricane. Haven't drawn anything for a while, wanted to try something with thinner lines. I really like how the ears ended up 9- Lady Bow from Paper Mario. She's my favourite of the partners :) 10- Ptarmigan with a cape, based off a sketch I made a while ago. Looking at it now, I'm not sure what her expression is supposed to be- it somehow ended up way different than the original sketch... 11- Sunrise and Fish (@MagikarpT's character). I don't like the background, but my computer somehow erased all the data of the drawing right after I saved it, so now I only have the non-editable .png version. I hate modern technology I think I'm gonna go live in the woods with the bears now 12- Scaling down the drawing on the paper plus Scratch making the quality really bad made the writing on the paper illegible, but if you're curious, it says "Happy hatching day! To Saguaro" 13- Cinnabar. I think this is the first time I've actually made a full drawing of her (instead of just a sketch). Also, drawing from this angle is apparently way easier than I thought it'd be! 14- You know when you want to draw something but you're not sure what? That's what this is. I've wanted to draw this for a while, but the specifics of it always eluded me so I gave up every other time. I ended up making it way simpler than I wanted it to be, but hey, at least it looks good(?) 15- Hurricane. I made the wings and frills opaque this time because if I try to draw lightning hitting a semi-transparent wing one more time I am going to cry 16- A Sea-Night hybrid. I used a picture of a galaxy for the fins and wings, it looks pretty cool :) 17- Princess Blaze of the Sandwings... This is the first time in like 4 years I've drawn a canon character lol 18- A redraw of a pretty old drawing I did. The original is from April 14th, 2020, and this one is from, uh, now (May 29th, 2021). The first one is in the first art project I made if you want to look at it, I still think it looks pretty good (even though I forgot the ears :( ). This version's better, though. 19- happy pride month :) 20- Hurricane and Fish. Yes I know their colours are practically identical it's on purpose and a long story 21- I wanted to put the shadow up against the wall so the angle makes sense (like the villain from Disney's Princess and the Frog if I'm remembering that movie correctly, which I'm probably not) but I couldn't figure out how to do it so I just kind of overlaid it over the whole thing. 22- You know how in Legends: Darkstalker Whiteout paints a painting of her family? This is that. (I think the book mentions that it's all in blue, otherwise I would've made Foeslayer more green) 23- If I had to pick a favourite Pokemon, it'd be Whimsicott :) (at least when I made this it was. Now 3 years later it's Cutiefly) 24- This is a little hard to see, probably should have made the sky lighter 25- Made this a month ago and forgot to put it here. But now I made it into a sticker and it's on a notebook I also made! :D 26- An Ice/Silkwing hybrid for a project I'm doing where I'm trying to draw one of every type of hybrid. The colours sort of remind me of a Chinese moon moth, but I only thought of that like a week after I finished the drawing so it had nothing to do with it 27- Same as above, but a Sea/Leafwing. This one reminds me of seaweed 28- I don't think I've drawn Sunrise in a while, but here she is. At least now she looks like an actual dragonet and not just a really short fully grown dragon
The art and most of the characters are mine, except for Ghost in the 7th drawing and Fish (the blue one) in the 11th who are @MagikarpT's characters. Wings of Fire (the book series the types of dragons are from) is by Tui T. Sutherland, Lady Bow is from Paper Mario, and the music is the Bubblaine music from Super Mario Odyssey (between the music in the last art project and this one, you may have guessed what my favorite video game is.) Also, I'm giving up on renaming all the costumes to "costume[number]" like I did in the other projects. Now if you want to see the sometimes weird, mostly boring things I name the files on my computer, you can.
