this is the animation i was talking about. not finished. it's like 30% finished. contains five minutes of mostly (hopefully entertaining) talking. the interesting stuff happens one minute in because before that is just the introduction. the dumb narrator <emphasis>character</emphasis> from those things i made two years ago, i watched it and thought it'd be kinda fun to make something like that again so here it is. supposedly about those generic platformers that are probably made by the younger people of the community who don't know a lot of how to code and make games, but still want to make a game so they just make generic platformers. less explainable is how they get to the front page. i guess it could be because younger people find them enjoyable and scratch is full of younger people and they're newer to the community so a game like that isn't old to them. i lied it's not about that, that's just a plot device to get the narrator talking. i just said that to give my true insight as to why i think generic platformers are popular.
