Alaska stretched and trotted out of the cabin, inhaling the sharp cold air. She sighed happily and watched the sunrise over the lake. She closed her eyes and lifted her head letting the wind blow her fur gently. She jerked her head around to see Key emerging from the cabin with two mugs of hot cocoa. Key settled beside Alaska and they stared over the lake together.
