ITS DONE whooo also, watch all the way through, or press space! it does change on the very last loop, but otherwise it's very repetitive. I've never drawn a whale before in my life much less a space whale but i had fun. b i o t i m e name: Altalune "This name has a Latin origin and the meaning of this unique name is 'Over the moon'." goes by Lune for short sometimes. gender: non-existent, goes by they/them or it. age: sentries old, and is probably older then our solar system. but it doesn't remember. size: changeable, can be as small as a school bus or as big as a three story house. other: has free range around space, and generates oxygen for itself inside its body. its direct inside is also habitable, as long as Altalune is okay with it. its as if it is hollow, but really all it's organs are just outside the hollow part. if you wanted to get inside Altalune, you would go in through their mouth. they can use their tongue to choose whether what goes in is friend or food. if you go over their tongue, you can go inside. if you under, you're going to get digested. speaking of food, Lune eats comets, and doesn't desire to eat animals or plants. backstory: it must've been the year 3070, or somewhere in the 3-70's, and Altalune was just cruising through space, munching on comets, and feeling quite lonely. as fun as going wherever you want is, it gets quite lonely after a gazillion years or so. they had shrunk himself down to school bus size, when he noticed a aircraft. quite a big one, actually, hanging around just outside the milky way. and there were PEOPLE inside. and people OUTSIDE! a girl, looking about 17 years old, was in a perfectly fitting high-tech space suit. Altalune calmly glided over, but the girl was not so calm. she screamed, as who expects a school bus sized whale thing to fly at you in space? but Altalune calmly introduced themself, and the girl did the same. Altalune learned the girls name was Lisa, and she was actually 24. the girl and the whale became quick friends, the girl sneaking off whenever she could as her people colonized a small planet. sometimes, they would go on flies - well, Lisa would ride inside Altalune. Lisa was amazed the first time Lune told her she could take of her space suit. it wasn't even gross inside her whale friend! it felt like standing in a leather room, with large windows. Lisa told some of her friends about Altalune, and Lune was delighted! MORE friends! they had wonderful times. but as the years went by, friends told friends, and friends told friends... eventually the whole civilization - now fully settled - heard of the space whale, that you could ride in and breath. Altalune started to get used to help the humans expand, and explore. Lisa wasn't able to hang out with them as much, and the humans started to pollute Altalune. they plotted to install things inside of them, and it scared Altalune. they didn't know what to do. they couldn't leave their only friend- even though they would live much longer then her - and they were weakened by the humans pollution. they didn't have the will or strength to run. but one night, as they lay school bus sized next to a lab, slowly excepting that the humans were going to install things inside them tomorrow, Lisa came over. Altalune smiled sadly. but Lisa offered to take Lune far away. even better, to go WITH them. Lune smiled genuinely now, and lifted their head. they knew if Lisa came, they could go. so Altalune grew to about the size of a one-story house, and let Lisa climb inside. they quickly flew off, planning to go far away. Altalune knew a good habitable planet, not to many galaxy's away. when they got there, Altalune was weak, but okay. the two made a nice living for themselves, and even made friends with a tribe-ish group of the intelligent species there. both Lisa and Lune were safe, and would be for a long time. but they both silently knew, Altalune was now sickly, and would never be at full strength again. t h e e n d ! hehe, i hope you liked it! also, i just wanna say, when drawing the main art piece i realized that the inside looks more like liquid... but uh.. its n o t a n y m o r e i guess. also, sorry the animation is just a sketch, i ran out of time- but i hope it still is okay. also sorry the backstory is so long lol- also, i type slower then my brain can handle, so if it looks like i missed a sentence or what i typed makes no sense, please let me know. gjahfdslahd i wanna win this whale :'D
