You felt the bed sigh under the weight of Hawks when he joined you in bed. He stretched his wings out and then wrapped one around you, instantly warming you up. "How was your day baby bird?" he asked you. You mumbled something about you being too tired and he sighed and relaxed. "Shhh, it's okay then, go to sleep." You had no idea how Hawks could stand sleeping in the same bed as you. You toss and turn all night and splay your legs across the bed, always kicking him. You try to curl up into a ball before you fall asleep to avoid kicking him, but it never works. You always wake up in the middle of the night also, never getting a good night's sleep. You constantly are worrying Hawks every time you wake up with bags under your eyes. A few hours later, you wake up, finding yourself sprawled out and somehow having your knee against Hawk's stomach. He was knocked out so you sat up and groaned out of exhaustion. You got out of bed and went downstairs to get some water. You doubted you'd be able to fall back asleep anytime soon, so you just rubbed your eyes and prepared for a long night. A few more hours later, you woke up to someone picking you up off the couch, "Wha?" you asked sleepily as you opened your eye to find Hawks smiling down at you, "Baby bird, you don't need to get out of bed when you can't sleep, you should've woken me up." he told you. You sighed and snuggled against him when you two laid down in the bed.
This was inspired by how much I toss and turn all flipping night. I don't sleep very well and I cannot imagine someone being able to sleep in the same bed as me, lol.
