They always need to get home, only home seems to keep disappearing and reappearing somewhere else. Static can't seem to figure out where they're from- or exactly who they are. Only that they've been stuck running on grass and jumping over spikes, saws and lava for (insert the number of years generic platfomers have been around because i'm too lazy to do the research). They know nothing of their past, just that it was horrible and heartbreaking and honestly? Static doesn't want to remember that. They prefer jumping over insane obstacles than thinking about the pain. Yet the distractions have run a bit short. People have started making studios and projects about stopping generic platformers. Static fears that if this keeps up, they'll never find their real home- or worse, be forgotten forever and have to remember their terrifying past.
