The Frozen Engine! It will blow you away with its wintery good looks! The goal of this demo is to find the igloo. Mainly because igloos are cool and they keep you warm (Hehe). You have 2 minutes before you freeze. Can you make it? First pick what size of map you want. Generate a thin map if your computer runs on the slower side, or generate a full map if your computer is a number-crunching beast (or you're using Turbowarp). Use WASD to move around, Spacebar to jump, E to enter the igloo, and the mouse to look around (Click to turn). Use headphones if possible to enjoy the ambient sounds. This engine features: - Beautiful 3D objects rendered in Blender - A snow particle system - Immersive sounds - Intuitive controls - Realistic perspective - Full solid collision detection - Visual effects - A large map capacity - Map making blocks for ease of use - Good documentation - And high optimization. It's crazy fast!
Big thanks to @BanBot7 for the support with this! I've pulled some of the sounds from various great scratch projects: Fishing: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/446039881/ D7 Engine: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/371861052/ Everest: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/425004987/ Check them out! And no, I didn't just copy the D7 engine. All code and art/rendering was done by myself. I may update this from time to time, so please make sure to stay tuned.
