Estimates by me may differ from official reports - Cyclone Winston is the strongest storm to make landfall in Fiji. Winston had a very erratic track, and it had two separate peaks. Winston was very devastating for the island of Fiji. Winston started off to the north-west of Fiji before moving south, reaching category 4 before weakening. The storm then moved east, then back north, as it begun to intensify. Now well east of Fiji, Winston moved east, making a catastrophic landfall in Fiji. Winston continued to move south-west and weakened.
