Make sure to leave a love or a favourite, I'd really appreciate it! → Information on people mentioned: Shays (From Shays' Rebellion): Daniel Shays was an American farmer, known for being the namesake of Shays' Rebellion. This happened when he, alongside many other farmers, were unable to pay debts for their land, due to economic withdrawal. Roger Sherman: Roger Sherman was an American politician from Connecticut, known for signing all four "Great Documents" of the United States, and for proposing the Connecticut Compromise, which would end the main quarrel between delegates of large and small states. James Madison: James Madison was an American politician and the eventual 4th President of the United States. In 1788, he wrote 29 out of the 85 essays of the Federalist Papers, under the pseudonym Publius. John Jay: John Jay was an American politician, known for being the second Governor of New York, the first Chief Justice of the United States, and one of the three writers of the Federalist Papers, writing five of the essays. Alexander Hamilton: Alexander Hamilton was an American politician, known for being the eventual first Secretary of Treasury, and writer of 51 essays of the Federalist Papers. George Washington: George Washington was a war leader, and the eventual first President of the United States. He is known for leading the colonies, and eventual United States, through the French and Indian War, as well as the American Revolutionary War, whilst gaining the Americans' trust throughout. He is the committer of the genocides referenced in the last paragraph. John Locke: John Locke was an English philosopher, known for "founding" a plethora of moral and political ideas. His writings were highly praised amongst American revolutionaries, due to his defining of the right to rebel.
