Hey guys! Its been a while, again, haha. This is long overdue, but if you follow me on DA, you'll know I've been very active on there. You may also know why I haven't been very active on here. So let me do a quick summary of my life since December 1st of last year: The first day of December, me and my parents cut school and work to go on a trip to LEGOLAND because there was a special homeschooling discount. Well, we were supposed to ice skate before we went into LEGOLAND. As my dad was doing his last lap around the ice, something happened and he slipped and fell. I don't know how he fell, as I didn't see him, but another person who HAD saw him said it looked like he was doing a trick before it backfired and he ended up unconscious. Anyways, he was carried off in an ambulance, and me and my mom drove to the hospital after him. He ended up with a cracked skull and minor bleeding on the brain. We were several hours away from home, and throughout his 4-day (I think it was four days anyway) stay in the hospital, we stayed at a hotel, a relative's, and then we finally got to go home. I NEED to go home at the end of the day, lest I get super cranky, disagreeable, and tired, so you can probably figure how that went XD. But that's in the past, and what I really need to fill you in on is in the present. Monday like, a week ago (not last Monday, the week before that) my dad went back to the hospital. He had more bleeding on the brain which formed a cyst and was putting pressure on his brain, which was causing his left side to be funky and could eventually send him into a coma. That Tuesday he had surgery to remove it. Wednesday (his birthday) and Thursday he spent recovering. Luckily, he was close to home this time and I was able to come home at the end of the day. But the worst part happens next. Friday, the day my dad was to be released, something else happened. At 5:30ish in the morning I was adjusting my earplugs (yes I sleep with earplugs) when I heard a voice. No, it wasn't God, it was my mom's voice. "My dad's not home so she cant be talking to him, and who in their right mind would call my mom at 5:30 in the morning?" I asked myself. "She doesn't normally wake up until 10." So eventually I got too curious to wait in bed, so I got up and went to the railing that overlooks the first floor. I don't know if I thought something was wrong or if I was mad at my mom for waking me up or my thoughts were delirious because I was so tired, but I think it was a mixup of those three. I asked her why the heck she was awake and talking on the phone at 5:30 in the morning, and she responded that she thought she was having a heart attack. She called the paramedics, and then called a friend to take care of me. Right then and there I gave up and went back into my room, but when I heard sirens down the road I came back. "This is really happening. Both of my parents are going to be in the hospital. Fluffing life, I hate you so much." The paramedics did some tests on here at my house and said it seemed like she wasn't having a heart attack, but they took her to the hospital anyway. No, she didn't have a heart attack, but I might have. I ended up staying at my friends house all day and I snapped at her a few times cause I was so tired and she was kinda annoying me, haha I feel bad ;^;. But whatever, now that all that drama's taken care of, I might actually be able to work on some things on here. Although, I'm working on a buncha stuff for DA so no promises. In the meantime, enjoy some art~

Description

Whether or not you bothered to read the rant above (and if you cared even a little bit about me you would), here's a little art guide: (Btw all the pictures are from oldest to newest from when they were drawn; the oldest one is like a year old, the newest was done last night) Picture 1. This was a drawing I did to accompany a story I wrote for a writing class. It actually has to do with Narnia, believe it or not. One of the rare times you'll see me do humans. Picture 2. This is sorta Fuzzdramon, sorta concept art for a character in a story I wrote for the same writing class, and sorta just me trying to make good art in MS paint. Picture 3. I don't have a favorite movie, but currently I'm sorta kinda obsessed with Big Hero 6. This was some fanart I did right after I saw it in theaters. I normally don't do humans, robots, abstract (aka not just a scene), or backgrounds involving cities but I did all those things here and I'm actually pretty proud of it. I did mess up on the sky though; it should be blended but I forgot to blend it *cries* Picture 4. I joined PMDUnity on Deviantart (and I'm still working on a dungeon submission for the group) and my team is Azuil the shiny female Noibat and Clyde the Togetic. The dialoge here is really lame, but Azuil has a soft spot for lost souls. This was my drawing for the Ectoplasmic Escorts (aka Errand 11). Picture 5. Geninja, oh how I love Greninja~ Picture 6. I'm starting an original series called Spirits, but I wont be posting it on Scratch. Just Deviantart. Read more about it here: http://teamcapumon.deviantart.com/art/Spirits-507504557 Picture 7. Tried to do a painting style, didn't work XD This is Cocoa, the sister of the leader of Team Glacial Wings which is part of another PMD group on DA called PMDOrigins. I liked how the bg came out though. Picture 8. Tried the painting style again, closer but not quite and also took A LOT of work. Fuzzdramon is my bae. Picture 9. Finally figured out the painting style! Er I think so anyway. This is Rusty, the second member of another team called Team Rusty Shadows in PMDOrigins. He knows attract XDDD Fun fact: the first time I drew this, I ruined the drawing and had to completely redo it. Picture 10. I think I liked the more contrast shading in picture 9 better, but Painting style again. Also Azuil trying to look tough. I think my coloring skills have improved, but lineart wise I haven't changed that much. Oh well, I still have a lot of work to do!
