I really like how this turned out and here's the process 1. Sketch 2. Since I decided to go with a painterly style because of the portrait thing I was going for. So this is the base colors and background. 3. Shading and fixed hands. 4. Frames, I looked at references for this and the hands. 5. We are back to the finished thing.
