T H E U S U R P E R Once upon a time, there was a little girl. The little girl loved to draw. One day, she drew a bunny, a cheerful little thing. But when she showed it to the others, they said it was too contorted, too monstrous. Dejected, the little girl destroyed the paper she had drawn the bunny on, and buried it in the woods. The bunny represented a fear, a tick, an itch, a heart-shaped stain on society. Some are special, while most are without. Raise their pedestals higher. Lower the rest.
