I made these rivals up over 2-3 years ago.. The Old Comic Storyline (yes, I made comics, but threw them out and i regret that): Starro and her family were eating dinner. The military broke into the house and took her away to do experiments on her. He put her on the 70th floor of the lab. The scientist put starfish dna into her, and also put supernova bits and plasma into her bloodstream. Nothing happened... So he got mad, and he was going to find a new test subject. So he beheaded her with a huge knife. She thought she was dead... She couldn't see for a moment, until her head regenerated. But then she realized that she could grow her bodyparts back! So she broke out of the lab chair and scared the scientist. Then she pushed him out the window. He fell out the window, all 350 feet. He died that day. Another scientist was mad. So he went on to experiment using the old head that she left behind when it was cut off. The scientist found a way to clone Starro off of it, and made Evil Starro. She was given commands to find and kill Starro. The clone went to fight Starro, and Starro fell into a lake. The lake turned into a whirlpool. Starro didn't know how to swim yet.. She drowned. She sunk to the bottom of the lake. BUT SHE COULD BREATHE! The Starfish abilities are really helping her.. (Their old Ultra Mode esque thingies called Super Cat Power let them get cat ears and be able to fly, and their powers were boosted.)
I rebooted them today-esque New Storyline: Starro and her family eat dinner. *knock* Starro answers the door. *FBI enters the house* FBI Agents: "Hello everyone. We mean no harm. We were just looking for help. our scientists are working on a vaccine to prevent future diseases. It would be a vaccine effective to everything, from the past, in the future. Would any of you want to volunteer? *Starro volunteers* LATER: Starro is at the lab. She gets to pick which scientist to be with. The others seem really nice, except for one. That one looks young and crazy. Starro almost went with a good one, but the crazy one told her that he's seen their work, and they almost cost the lab all of its research. Starro, gullible and naive, went with Mr. Cray Cray. He went up 70 floors with her. He had 2 serums. One that had Supernova and plasma bits mixed into it, and one that had Starfish DNA mixed in. He locked Starro into a chair and gave her a lot of the Supernova/Plasma one. He then cut her hair a bit, and took a sample of her blood. She was knocked unconscious by the serum. He got so upset that he kept hitting her and beating her even though she was unconscious. Starro woke up. She was strong enough to break the chair. She backed the scientist into a window. The scientist stabbed her with a knife, causing her to yell in pain and crash into the window, breaking it and sending them both down 350 feet. Starro used her newfound powers unknowingly, and used a supernova blast at the ground, spiraling her up into the air, and into a lake. The scientist hit the ground. He survived though, his body regenerated, due to him taking the Starfish serum. He used the hair and blood samples to make a clone, called Evil Starro. Unbeknownst to the government, he sent her out to kill Starro... (Their new Ultra Mode esque thingies, which are now called Super Star Power, allow their powers to be boosted, they get tiaras that can be thrown, and they get two weapons. (Evil Starro's is more like a Chakram) (Starro's is more like a Club))
