Welcome to Scratch Cat Dash! This fun spin-off of Scratch's tutorial project has many cool features. ~How it works~ You use the up & down arrow keys (or W and S) to move up and down. Collect tacos and apples; tacos are 5 points while apples are 1 point. Try to get the high score! I realized the Scratch original game was a bit boring because, well, there are no dangers! That's why I added some dangers. If you see a gray spike coming your way, DUCK! Also, you have 3 lives (view your 3 lives in the top corner.) A good way to prevent spikes is to look for shields (symbolized as a turquoise bracket with a spike next to it.) After you collect your shield, you have 10 seconds to use it. The player itself is still vulnerable, but if the spike is touching the shield it will be destroyed (the shield is in front of you.) The speed boost speeds up the cat. Your score is your amount of points. There is a 'support cat', which appears in the beginning.
