Backstory: Sol was one of the pokemon rebels determined not to get caught. Along with a band of other pokemon including Snorlax, Raichu, a Meowth, and their leader, an Arceus, they sabotaged poke-marts and attacked trainers. One day, a trainer dressed in strange gear threw out not a poke-ball, but a strange device that sucked Sol into a portal. He found himself lying on a cold, metal floor. He managed to escape the humans' prying fingers, but couldn't escape the facility. He wasn't strong enough to break anyone else out.
