Woah look I finished within the time frame :0 I hope this is alright- I had to technically use three frames for the desired effect. I hope that’s okay! If not I can change it. ( I also may or may not have referenced the among us “shhh” for Piper’s hand hahah) The Caterpillar man is Wylie- I keep meaning to post a project on his existence in this AU but I haven’t gotten around to it yet. He wears a highly not functional cape because *style* Also, updates to Piper’s wonderland story: So, just like in cannon, she grew up as a thief. However, in this AU her father paid her more attention and trained her and Rue equally. They were trained to steal, fight and kill. One day, Donny told them to kill each other. Piper lunged for Rue but missed, spiraling downward and breaking her wing. She braced herself for Rueben to deliver the final blow but instead he turned and killed their father, rescuing Piper. He and Piper took an oath to never kill again. Life was good for awhile, Piper got a secure job, got married to Devon (who was not sick in this AU- Vera won’t make the same mistake twice hah) and had Apollo and Solstice. Devon worked at the quarry and one day brought his sons to work with him. Unfortunately, an accident happened, killing both Devon and Apollo and injuring Solstice. Piper was devastated and ended up getting into some trouble that got her fired from her job. Then, her heart started to harden. She still loved Sully very much- who is a little bit less annoying in this AU and more wholesome- but he became incredibly ill sending Piper into another spiral of depression (because if one of Piper’s cat men isn’t sick the other is :’) ). She started to drink a bit and ended up brutally stabbing some guy behind a bar. The oath was broken. Piper went home feeling mixed emotions- she was upset but a bit exhilarated. She then somehow ended up at Wonderland and got a job as an assassin. Rueben found out. He confronted her one day, yelling at her for returning to their old ways. He threatened to report her and all of Wonderland. He gave her three days to resign. At the end of the three days, they sat down for Dinner at Rue’s house. With a trembling hand, she shot her own brother that had spared her life all those years ago. Sully, meanwhile, wasn’t getting too much better. She needed to pay his medical bills so she began to work twice as much, becoming consumed by her job. Every evening (often very late at night), she would come home to her sleeping son, kiss him on the forehead, wash her clothes from any bloodstains and then return to work early in the morning.
