Creepy story below! Tw for blood and stuff! (press green flag to see picture) Cloverfoot could feel her blood seeping out onto the hard, dusty floor. She couldn't see. Her eye wasn't in its socket. But she could feel it. Cloverfoot could smell fear-scent, as well. She tried to focus, tried to stay awake. It wasn't hers. Faintly she could hear a voice calling her. A familiar voice. But her ear was ruined. It must have been her imagination. She tried, she really tried, to stay concsious. But Cloverfoot could feel her grip on the world fading, fading, until everything was gone. -- "I'm a monster." Cloverfoot muttered to herself, in a voice barely intelligible. "I'm a monster. I'm a monster." Everything was ruined. She was still alone, in the tunnels. Staring down into a puddle at her ruined face. She had been thirsty. She followed the sound of dripping water, panting, in agony as her broken leg dragged behind her. And here she was. Only to look in the reflection and see what had happened to her face. Dried blood was encrusted all over it. She was missing her right eye, her right ear was squashed. Scars all over. She wasn't thirsty anymore. "I'm a monster." She closed her eye, feeling a tear drip out. "A monster. A monster." Her voice echoed in the caves. But something wasn't right. That wasn't her voice. Cloverfoot paused, looking up. The "echoes" continued. "A monster. A monster. A monster." Now it wasn't in the caves, it was in her head. She could feel it wrapping around her skull and squeezing it with ice-like claws. "A monster..." The voice hissed. "A monster." Her voice now. She was speaking, her mouth moved. "I am a monster." She held up her deformed paw. Not a result of the fall, something she'd been born with. It suddenly looked uglier than before. She looked back into the water. Her teeth seemed bigger, her entire mouth stretched a bit "I'm a monster. I'm a monster. A monster. A monster." The two voices, hers and the echo, spoke in sync. She was changing now. Her face was changing, her eye socket was glowing, her deformed paw bigger and uglier, its pelt rattier and darker. Its teeth grew. Its mouth grew. What was left of its ear disappeared. "A monster. A MONSTER! A MONSTER! A MONSTER!" It shrieked. Blood was dripping, dripping, it was a monster, a monster, a monster. Then it was over. It smiled, curling its claw-like fingers, and stood, pain nonexistent. It noticed its fingers waver a bit, back to what they had been, as if this was nothing but a hallucination. But they returned, and its grin grew wider still. A monster was ready.
This is stupid and cringey :') Credit to pokemon for lavender town. Ik, the theme is kinda cliche... I just couldn't resist!! Credit to @-_AnnieWithAnIe_- for the idea of having a short story, and @Woffy-Cofee for the monster AU! :D
