Scratch Team: Do not take these projects off the air even though they are exactly the same. I told the people to do so. What to do: Click the green flag, then remix this project and use the remix as your project (If you are remixing, click on “stage” or “backdrops” and read my comment on what to do about the auto fit script. If you want to make an intro generator, keep it, but if you want to use it, remove or change it.) This will show YOUR username in front of a shower of like, fave, and follow confetti, nobody else ever again. Once the intro finishes playing, if you configured your sprites correctly or used the template correctly, it will start your program as needed and will NOT autofit to the viewer’s username. If you want to use this intro somewhere else, you can backpack sprites from your remix and place them in another project. I suggest using the template and duplicating it. Besides, who wants to copy code? You can delete the comments, but keep the code, as it is crucial. You can add a delay to show time in the template when you first see it. It’s the one at the very top. The unused template, anyway.
Lettering may be a bit wonky-looking, but it works! Once you use this, the message “the program can start now” is your new "green flag clicked”. I have a template for a sprite in the project that you can backpack in addition to the intro. It’s precoded to fit the intro, so just add other lines. Remember to use the message “the program can start now” as your “green flag clicked” replacement! If you decide to remix the project instead of using your backpack, please note that the backdrop does override the username selector, making the entire easier to control and harder to find out for people who haven’t seen this. Enjoy!
