example for @White_Shadow222 I personally don't like how the colors played out in this drawing, but I'm gonna use it as an example anyway. This is what I meant by "When I pick a new color to use, I try to spread it out so that it shows up throughout the drawing at least twice." The circles show how the main colors are spread out. The orange/yellow doesn't show up anywhere else in the drawing, which is something I should have paid attention to. Note that this isn't a strict rule or anything, just something I discovered on my own. Play around with it and tell me what you think :)
