* MOBILE FRIENDLY * * NEW SHUFFLE FEATURE ADDED! * Ever wanted a piano that played itself? Well here it is! Select one of the preset tunes, or compose and record your own tune, or simply play around on the keys! Hopefully the controls are intuitive, but if you have any questions please let me know. The music display is very very basic - No keys, bars, or different note lengths, and keyboard black notes are designated by the # symbol. Beats are regular, but the tempo can be changed by using the slider on the bottom right. Modes: Free play - You're just playing the piano! Record - You're composing a tune, you can create notes and chords on a single beat using the piano keys. (To remove a note, click the key again) Use the arrow buttons to navigate to first, previous, next and last beats. (use the "advance" checkbox to auto-advance when in record mode) Use "Insert" to add a new beat at the current position. Use "Cut" (scissors) to remove the current beat. Use the "Test" button to test the current chord. Play - Plays the tune from the current position. (Use the "Loop" checkbox for continual play) When you are happy with your composition, you can export the code. Don't forget to give it a title! Please post your compositions in this thread: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/476284 Compositions that impress me may get added into the project as presets!
