Disclaimer: hOnestly don’t take this personally it’s only for some people jeez, also NOT ALL YOUNG PEOPLE DO THIS. JUST SOME. MOST OF MY FRIENDS ON AND OFFLINE ARE YOUNG. - So, yeah, a lot of you probably know that TONS of Scratchers have been leaving the platform and/or deleting their accounts. A big reason why people are leaving (in my opinion) is because of the ST, art stealers, drama, etc. But one key thing you all have been looking over when you say the ST is oversensitive (no I never thought I’d be on their side lmao) is that...this platform honestly wasn’t meant for y’all or for me. It was meant for younger kids, like 6-11 kind of stuff, I think. And these people 13-17 are coming on here, doing stuff that’s appropriate for THEIR age but not for the intended age of the platform and getting banned or a warning or whatever. This might be a big part of art stealers and tracers, because these people are YOUNG. They don’t know better (it’s no excuse, I know) so it’s not really their fault but sometimes it is. It always varies. The bullies are also usually younger kids or older kids who think they can do whatever they want. I’ve noticed a few people (I’m not naming them, for...reasons) being sensitive and hurt by small hateful comments. It pains me to see this, because these kids are sometimes naive and can’t really control it. These kids are around 10 or younger so it’s understandable. I wish that this platform was more, I dunno, welcoming to older people, but it’s not. I know as I’m typing this I’m just a 12yo going on 13 but I honestly think I have some knowledge of this stuff as I have been on here for quite a while lmao - it’s kind of hard to see all this stuff and blindly ignore it. I know all of this is scattered and possibly incorrect but I just needed to get all this out. I hope y’all will take my advice, I’m not saying not to join Scratch if you are a teen or whatever just be more careful around the younger kids I guess. I sort of know this stuff have a EXTREMELY sensitive younger sibling lol I’m not trying to start a fight :)
