PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTES BEFORE PLAYING ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cat has been out late at a party. Now he must travel home through the dangerous night. Press space to start. You may have to press it firmly or a few times to stop the floating script. Use the arrow keys to move around. Don't touch the trees, mountains, or evil bats. Be careful at the top, you could get hit by lightning. If lightning hits a tree, it will cause a fire. If you touch any hazards, you will fall to the bottom and a health potion will appear. Click it to recover. You have three potions to use. When the distance to home reaches zero, you win. If you hit a hazard and have no more potions to use, you lose.
I completed the second version of the game! Here is the link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/489812363 -I was inspired by Scratch's "Make it Fly" tutorial and I added my own ideas -Code by me -Most of the art is from the Scratch sprite library, but the hat, evil bats, fire, and background are by me. -Sounds are from the sound library. I reversed the "Cave" loop sound. -For the "In the Air" SDS -I started making this game before the start of the SDS, but when it began, I thought this game would be perfect for it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: There is a minor bug that sometimes causes the cat to get stuck at the bottom of the stage when he hits a hazard. He also sometimes falls to the middle of the screen. I don't really know how to fix these bugs, sorry... :( If you know a solution to these problems, please let me know. -Also, the sparkles surrounding the broom are okay, but they could look better. If you know how to make them look better, also please let me know how!
