I was feeling kinda overwhelmed last night and listening to Sleeping at Last and thought, "Hey i'll do a quick doodle of Hollyleaf, maybe try that greyscale-and-then-colors thing" and then it turned into this. it kinda dies when you try to cram it into Scratch's aspect ratio, whoops. The ratio of time I spend daydreaming about drawing her to actually drawing her is a travesty. also I'm working on figuring out her hair! 3. Pose was made in this iphone app called make a pose and then I loosely traced the pose from that (which is how I got the foreshortening). 4. closer in 5. my stormlightsona :) i didn't really know what truthwatcher spren looked like when i drew this so he looks kinda like the weird vague light spot that sometimes shows up on our living room wall when the light hits our back door window. 6. more stormlightsona. Ida! 8. hoo boy I drew the lineart for this like maybe a year ago or something? anyway it was sitting in my medibang cloud storage for like months and then in october/november I finally got it back out and added the background and shading -- a different tone for those than I'd initially planned (originally it was kinda venty) but it works. 9. the background for that. kinda. idk why i exported this separately but it's there. Colors were picked/referenced from a stock image. 10. also from back in november, I drew an old OC from like middle school who I might revive. She lived on a gas giant covered in trees and discovered these space shark dragon things. It was legit. 11. pose (and limited palette) practice from november 12-13 (WARNING: COSMERE SPOILERS) I was rereading oathbringer and remembered that Nightblood is a valid warrior cats name. ...no regrets.
