Trigger warning, this is like. Super sad. Maybe sadder than my Suga short story. Like you might actually c r y. I c r i e d w r i t i n g t h i s. You were sitting in your car, in shock. You didn't know how to react to the news the doctor had given you just a few minutes ago. You hold your stomach with your hand, thinking about how your dreams of raising a child with Daichi were now crushed. It was a Sunday, Daichi must be waiting at home for you to arrive from your doctor's appointment, but you couldn't bring yourself to drive out of the hospital parking lot. You took out your phone and dialed Daichi's number. Resting your head on the steering wheel, you felt a few tears slip through your now closed eyes. "Hello?" he asked on the phone. You took a deep shaky breath. "Daichi, I lost the baby." It was silent on his end for a good two minutes while he tried to process what you said. "Do you need me to come get you? Are you okay to drive right now?" he said slowly. Your voice cracked as you finally started to really cry, "No, please come here." you pleaded. 10 minutes later, Daichi jumped out of a cab and ran to the car. He opened the driver's side door and helped you out. He just hugged you and tried to tell you it was okay. You were now violently sobbing, gripping onto him like your life depended on it. "What are we gonna do? What if I'm never able to give us the child we always wanted?" he shushed you. "It's not your fault, not at all. We will be able to have as many children as you want one day, but we need to get through this together." he said. He now had tears in his eyes himself, but he was holding it together for you. He helped you into the passenger side and quickly got into the driver's seat. "We're gonna go home and lay in bed for the rest of the day. We're going to relax and talk through this, okay?" he said, wiping his eyes quickly before you saw he was crying too. You nodded solemnly, tears still streaming down your face as you watched the scenery flashed by.
