Oh boy TLDR, Fire Emblem Heroes is putting up a vote for what character the community wants to see get an alt for in the game This has been going on every year for 5 years And this is the first time that a meme character (simply named "Gatekeeper") is actually showing promise of possibly getting into the top standings This is causing a war within the community, between the people who want legitimate characters with actual personality to win, and the memelords who've grown to adore this random, nameless NPC I am personally within the latter group, and I really just want him to actually win just to see what the heck the game devs decide to do with that And to think people thought Smash was the most chaotic Nintendo community back when Byleth was introduced, this is just a different level of hilarious XD I don't know where you ever heard Claude was my favorite character, Gatekeeper is clearly the best
