Nooalf has three extra letters that represent non-English sounds. The K with a brim is pronounced “hk” as in Scottish “loch”. It is a common sound in German, Klingon, and other languages. The weird-looking G is pronounced like the French R. The weird-looking P is pronounced like the P with enough pressure to force air between your lips.
