All other instructions are in the project. ------ FAQ: - What are the controls? -Hold space or the up arrow to fly and use the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) to turn on desktop. Press and hold anywhere to use the joystick on mobile. -This is too hard! -Did you check out easy mode in settings on the start screen? -Is there a mobile mode? -Yes! Find it in settings on the start screen! -What is the difference between modes? -While easy mode makes it so lettuce refuels your fuel, normal mode does not. -How did this horrible game get featured? -No idea. Personally I wouldn't feature it myself if I didn't create it. Way too many bugs for my liking, and not polished at all! -I found a glitch! -please tell me about it in the comments! At the bottom is a list of glitches and things I’m trying to fix. The more details you provide about when the glitch happened (and what device you're using), the easier it is to fix! -I don't get the story. -Basically, a girl turtle was shopping when her groceries (it was just lettuce) flew away. Toby is now retrieving the lettuce to help the girl turtle. -Your art style is bad. -Ok... I am a bad artist. If you send me better versions of the designs I'll be glad to use them and give you credit! -I cheated! -Ok, now I'll revert your score. Please don't cheat- and if you do, it is a bad idea to say so. -Why so few levels? -I got bored and wanted the game to get into the SDS on time. -How did this get into the SDS when the date says October 2021? -I accidentally unshared it... multiple times... -Was this made for the SDS? -No- midway through development the SDS changed to become perfect for my project! It was actually inspired by a Kahn Academy video involving a turtle with a jetpack. -How long did this take to make? - A couple of months. -What is your best time? - 28.47 seconds. It's better than the high score, but since I'm the one who made the project I'm not counting it. -These levels are garbage. -Sorry, I'm bad at level design. I also had no one to playtest them. Too late to fix them now though unless I erase the fastest time. -This is animal abuse!!! Why is a turtle wearing a jetpack?!?!?!? -Um... It was Toby's choice to wear a jetpack! Plus he has a helmet, he'll be fine. -Any secrets or easter eggs? -Yes, multiple! -Something is off with the movement. -Sorry about that, recently I accidentally deleted a sprite and I had to rebuild the movement from scratch (no pun intended). I might try to fix it at a later date. -What is the turtle's name? -Toby. The girl turtle is named Galadriel. -What is Toby? -A Turtle. Did you even read the title? -Why are you referencing the SDS even though it isn't actually in the SDS? -It is in the SDS (the current one at time of writing, “In the Air”). -Why are some of the questions in the FAQ not questions or even frequently asked? -Some things can't be said as questions -not enough people have asked questions for it to have a "real" FAQ. -Put my question in the FAQ!!!! -Ok... sure. -Is this the end of the FAQ? -No, I might add more questions depending on what people actually say! ---- To do: Fix bugs: -star doesn't open (not seen by myself) -character doesn't reset?
