Okay, guys, so there’s some good news (a lot!) and bad news (not very much). The good news is that I have all the voices I need! Jennifer I had to use the backup for (but don’t worry, the backup’s great!), but they’re all there. More good news: The first episode is 23 seconds animated, and since I have all the voices, full production may now commence! This may not seem like much, especially considering how long I want the episode to be, but actually it’s a lot. And an AWESOME lot it is too, really filmic and theatrical. Some of my best work, and a whole lot better than Ivy Lake. Okay, here’s the bad news: I can’t post the episode on Scratch. Don’t worry, there’s nothing sketchy about it. The reason’s simple: it’s too big for Scratch to handle, especially if I included an opening. So that bad news actually leads to MORE good news: That gives me an excuse to cut the series on iMovie. (Don’t worry, cutting doesn’t mean cutting stuff out—in this case, it’s just film jargon for editing.) This is a good thing because it’s a lot easier to work with than Scratch when it comes to video editing: it’s easier to manipulate sounds and clips, and I don’t have to save all the shots in terms of individual frames. So basically all this means that I will be posting the finished episodes on my own site, sites.google.com/site/colorsscratchstuff, not on Scratch. Don’t worry, it’s a Google site, so it’s secure and everything. When it comes out I will post a project with notes on the episode and a link to the finished product. :3 Hopefully this will allow me to increase the quality of the series as well as the length. Enjoy! I promise that I’ll get it done as fast as possible. In the meantime, enjoy a SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PREVIEW TMYS SCREENCAP along with some awesome Incredibles music. :)
