++++++++++ " DuskFeather! Look out!" a voice yowled. The deadly smoke filled DuskFeather's nose as he tried to reach his clan mates. Then a tree fell in his way. DuskFeather yowled then panicd and ran for the river. He crashed into a loner. The loner's fur was burned and filled with smoke. "Come on." he hissed and raced to the river. The she-cat followed. They stopped at the shore. " Why are you doing this for me?" the she-cat meowed. " Because.. I can't just leave a cat in trouble behind." DuskFeather meowed. The she-cat smiled and nodded. For a momment the burning earth disappeared and all DuskFeather could see was the loner. Then the sent of smoke filled his nose once more and he leaped into the river. " Come on!" he called and swimed to the other side. The she-cat followed. " My *gasp* name is Willow." she meowed smiling. " Mines DuskFeather." DuskFeather meowed. " I'll go to my clan in the morning if the fire stops then." he meowed and curled up beside the willow tree that was above them ++++++++++
