ayuka ✧ 5'4" | 21 | female | 11/21 | physical description: ayuka has red eyes, short black hair, and pale skin. she looks japanese in nationality. she normally wears kimonos, or variants on kimonos. She wears boot-like shoes. accessories: she carries either 1 or 2 katanas, often depending on situation. her fan's edges are sharp and can occasionally be used as a weapon. she also usually wears a flower hairpin. personality: she is cold, calculating, and unempathetic. she prioritizes personal gain over other people, viewing them as "things." backstory: she grew up a princess, to a father who was unable to have any other children, making her heir to the throne. her father was the ruler of a corrupt country, and was often away from his family, and her mother often busy, leaving ayuka basically without parents. her logical, cold, and unempathetic nature made her develop her own opinions on the world, with no influence from others, with the only people she really interacted with maids and guards. she was also trained in self-defense to guard against assination. Over time, she found herself resenting her parents, as her dad was a corrupt ruler leading a dying country, neglecting his own family. Especially as time went on, she was expected to be perfect, a princess, an object of beauty. Her nature and the neglect she faced growing up had led her to be almost emotionless by the time she was 14, almost never smiling or showing sadness, following in the cruel nature of her dad, however, less corupt and blinded. Many tried to court her as well, because not only was she beautiful at a young age, with her long hair and perfect face, but marrying her almost guranteed control of the throne in a society where men had power over women. however, ayuka felt no love for any of them, and resented her situation, as it was controlled by her parents and their needs without any regard for her. At this point, she wanted freedom more than anything else, and resented her parents immensely. So when she was 18 and her dad decided that it would be good to marry her to another man, she instead killed both her parents on one night then gathered a few things and left. She then cut her hair, seperating herself from what she used to be, leaving the past entirely behind her. Descending into the underworld, a world of crime and darkness, she became a hired assasin, and built her life up anew, being her own boss. As time went and she built her reputation, she quickly became one of the top assasins in the buisness, with many frequent customers. A person, bound by no laws, doing what their wanted.
