You walked into the gym with your team to hopefully get a practice game going. You wave Daichi over and he jogged to you, "Sorry y/n, we got here first." he said politely, You wave your hand absentmindedly, "Nevermind that, me and the girls wanted to know if we could play a practice game with you guys?" You asked. Daichi looked over his shoulder at his team and shrugged, "Sure, if they're up to it." He called his team over and they looked at you and your team like it would be easy to beat you guys. A black haired boy with blue eyes scoffed in your direction, causing you to raise your eyebrows. You stepped towards him and got in his face, "As long as I'm a captain, you will respect me as one. Also, don't judge me until you see me play sweetheart." you rolled your eyes at him turned to your team. "Lets go kick some butt ladies." The practice game went in the girl's favor for the first set up until Kageyama and Hinata were both in the front. You did your best to read block Hinata, but you just couldn't get there fast enough. You tried to brush it off, but they were scoring a lot of points. You finally shut down one of Hinata's spikes and then it was your turn to serve. Finally, a way to save face and rack up some points. You thought as you stared down their setter. You're goal was to make him get the first touch on the ball so he couldn't do that crazy quick with HInata. You took a deep breath and served. Yes! It worked, It was an easy block for the girls to pull off. You scored your team 3 points in a row, including one no touch ace. The girls cheered you on and you guys won the first and second set. As you girls were packing up your stuff to leave, the setter approached you. "I just wanted you to know that I'll beat you next time." Before you could respond, Daichi called him by name, "Kageyama, get over here and help Hinata clean this up!" So that was his name. Kageyama.
