It is what we walk on everyday. Beneath the crust is the mantle, the mantle is hot and putty like. Beneath the mantle is the outer core. The outer core is made of magma (lava that is beneath Earths surface). The inner core is inside the outer core. It is made of solid metal. Physical Layers of Earth*- The lithosphere is the outer most layer of Earth. It includes the crust and the outer mantle. Beneath the lithosphere is the asthenosphere. The asthenosphere is made of semi-solid rocks, its not hot enough to become magma but hot enough its soft its like warm putty. The mesosphere is a solid layer of rock. This layer is very thick! The outer core is liquid metal which flows due to convection currents. The inner core is the hottest part of Earth, it is made of solid metal. The pressure from the other layers prevent it from melting. * Diagram/explanation in project ___________________________________________ This is for a school project :3 #Science #Tectonicplates
