i never wanted to say this but I think map parts have become generic 0_0 Just think about the classic heart breaking, the rbob characters, the slide transitions, and so much more... And more and more people have decided to make map parts for the community! There are some epic animators out there that make truly original map parts that blow me away but the rest of us are falling behind with the trends... Trending has become something I can't define anymore (I won't go into any more depth in that though because it's already been said so many times) But here's the real reason I wrote this. Lots of people talk about generic comedy animations but does anyone ever talk about generic map parts?? What I'm trying to say is that original comedy animations don't get enough attention from people who make map parts and map parts don't get enough attention from comedy animation makers! I bet the best map part makers (for example rbop, tension, and mytheral) would be pretty bad at making a good real life animation and the best comedy animation makers wouldn't be amazing at map parts. If we keep putting each of our genres down, guess where that's going to get us. Banned! We just need to respect one another! Who cares that SOME people are doing scratch for fame? Their choices shouldn't bring us all down!! I'm going to be honest. I don't love making map parts and amvs. I did it because the community seemed to like them. I also think, truly, that even making a really good map part is easy. I can make a map part that gets me a lot of attention from the community in a day. However, my bigger better projects like "Saturn" that I spend months on don't have as much attention as those map parts that took about an hour. It's sad that I felt the need to make projects that the community liked instead of ones I liked making... From now on I'll just make projects that are actually fun to me. Including my Time Warp series that I will not say anything about except that I'm really excited for it to come out! Anyway, that's all I have to say. If you want to add something in the comments or POLITELY disagree I'm fine with that :) Thanks for reading.
