Unfortunately, his first Milk Giver also had a malcadh and was banished from the clan. She now lives in the MacNamara clan. Burako's second Milk Giver was very kind to him, and made sure he grew into a strong, powerful wolf. In the Moon of New Antlers, Burako's second Milk Giver was killed. He never knew how, or why. But Burako was old enough to care for himself, and he was already a packer of the MacDuncan clan.
