Alright, so I know that I said this was going to be a comic and it will be, kinda. The plot-relevant parts will be in comic form, like major events in the storyline and whatnot. But I want to get through the chapters faster, so not needing to draw more than a cover but still being able to play a part in the story is exactly what I need right now. This choice is vaguely because of what Rise Of SongClan by @Strawberry_Toast did. So without further ado... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Falling Blossoms - Chapter 3 Rosepaw padded back from the Gathering, remembering what she'd heard. A pair of she-cats padded past, gossiping. She listened into their conversation. "How dare Flickerstar let rouges into the Clan! Who does he think he is!?" one of the warriors, Sootmask was exclaiming angrily, as she glared at Crab, a rouge who'd asked to join BrightClan two moons ago. Dandeliontuft, the other she-cat sighed "The leader?" "Well- I- We can't stand for this! All our work to get the other Clans to forgive us after-" Sootmask was saying before Dandeliontuft interrupted "After Shatteredstar?". Rosepaw immediately stopped listening, freezing in place. The memories thronged around her head. Another BrightClan apprentice, Sparkpaw, bumped into her "Hey! Watch it!" the pale ginger tom said, with a hiss. Rosepaw growled at him and continued walking, shaking her head to clear it. -Some Time Later, Moonrise- Rosepaw padded quietly along the border, keeping low and sticking to the undergrowth. With luck, her scent would mingle with the border patrol's, and the Clan would be none the wiser. She'd used this tactic before and so far nobody had found out. She came to a clearing where the borders met. She saw the others, standing nervously near the tree. Tuftpaw was nowhere to be seen, Foxpaw and Nightpaw were looking uncomfortable. "What's wrong, guys?" she asked. "Well, you see Rosepaw..." Blazepaw said, nervously before being interrupted "We invited Blossompaw, but she hasn't shown up yet. We're worried that she snitched and told the leader or something." Dreampaw mewed, her voice calm. The undergrowth nearby rustled, everyone turned. Blossompaw padded through the ferns nearby. "Sorry I'm late, Butterpaw was on watch and I needed to wait for her to fall asleep before sneaking out..." the pale yellow apprentice explained. "It's all good, we do this every quarter moon, you just follow along the border as if you were on border patrol and the Clans are none the wiser!"
