*VROOM VROOM TO THE PARK YOU GO DRIVING THROUGH LANES YOU SHOULDN’T BE DRIVING IN, TERRI WHAT ARE YOU DOING OMG* He finally makes it to the park. You hop out of the car and look around. The park was full of children today. You giggle as you watch a kid and their dog run around together enjoying the fun. Terushima follows your gaze and his eyes soften. He grabs your arm and pulls you towards the small volleyball game going on a couple yards away. “Let’s go see if we can join and help out each team.” he says, laughing. All the people playing besides you guys were small elementary aged children. You two had so much fun together, as every time you two went up against each other at the net, the children cheered you guys on. Your face was flushed from the cold and exercise, so one of the smaller kids ran up to you with a water bottle. You grinned and thanked them, them beaming up at you with a huge proud smile. Terushima was watching with curious eyes, but you didn’t see. After a while of playing with the kids, you Terushima motioned that he was ready to go. You gave all the children hugs and said goodbye. You ran to catch up with Terri, who was already halfway to the car. You two got into the car and you noticed he was staring at you, “What?” you asked. He shook his head, “Nothing, it was just interesting watching you with all those children. It was kinda cute…” he said. You blushed, “What do you mean cute? Hmph.” he kept silent. *VROOM VROOM HE JUMPED THE CURB OF COURSE HE DID IT’S TERRI VROOM VROOM* He held the door open for you and paid for both yours and his coffee, even though you insisted you could pay for your own. “It wouldn’t be very nice of me to make my date pay, would it?” was his reasoning. You two sat down and conversed. Terri was a lot more open and exciting than you thought he could be. He asked you about your family and school. How life as a volleyball player and coach was for you, if you had siblings, and more. You asked him similar questions and learned a lot about him. He finally asks you if you have any piercings. You shrug, “I would, but my mom would probably kill me if I did.” he laughed. “You scared of your mama. You should be able to decide about what happens to your body on your own. I’ll take you to get a piercing to match mine if you want.” You looked at him like he was crazy, “You’re kidding, right?” you asked him. He laughed, flashing his own piercing, “Nope. we can go tomorrow if you want. It doesn’t hurt too bad, I promise.” he said sincerely.
