His burning muscles ached and his ankles teetered and wobbled with the threat of giving out from beneath him. Tail dragging against the ground he stumbled. His red gaze dripping with sorrow, Savor dropped his head to the sky. The night was pitch blank, a vast nothingness. It was so familiar to Savor, yet so estranged to him. That bright stars twinkled teasingly at him, dancing carelessly up in the cradle of space. He sank to the ground, a sobbing man. He knew that he should be happy. Savor had promised himself happiness after this all. But Savor only headed the burden of cold emptiness and his late sister’s name. “Athena,” he repeated, looking down from the night to her ghost. Savor almost smiled, reaching a paw out to her. But her illusion shattered, and Savor fell back with a sharp gasp that drown in the silence. The only life that lived on in these woods was Savor’s broken hope. ᴇxᴛʀᴀ ========================================= This design was such a pleasure to draw. I am in love with his cute little tail! :0 And I have always had a soft spot for pink and black designs, so I knew I had to enter for this babe! I messed around in Photoshop a bit, I used KYLE Ultimate Pencil Hard for the lineart here. But I finished the rest in Fire Alpaca because I am honestly scared of my big boy program.
